I think things are on the up and up. I got to spend some time with some friends of mine, and I also cleaned my room. I'm going to try my best this coming week. I have some work to complete tomorrow which shouldn't take long. I'm looking at my website and I'm a little dissatisfied with it, I think it could look better but I don't know how. I don't know how in regards to what needs to be added/changed, and also how to do that. Lol. I can't believe February is already a quarter of the way through. Oh! yes, I did end up adding that "now listening to" section to my page (as you can probably see), the code for it is a little scuffed despite how simple it looks. Oh gosh, you know what I am realizing as I'm looking at this? The most recent post should be at the top of the page. I should switch it around before I add more posts...

Feeling: Meh

I've been in a little bit of a rut, lately. I'll get out of it though. Everyone has good days and bad days, you know? I like grey cold weather but maybe unconsciously January and February puts me down a bit. Sometimes you've got to take life in minutes rather than days. "What am I going to do in the next minute?". Sometimes I feel like the future looks discouraging. What will I do in the next minute? What can I control? I will write some more of my blog post. I'm not thinking about tomorrow or next week. I'm thinking about the next minute. Every day is a gift you have to open and cannot return.

In some lighter news, I found some more music I like. Two songs I've been listening to alot are "I Only Have Eyes for You" by the Flamingos and "Gold" by Spandau Ballet. Both are romantic in one way or another, fitting as Valentine's Day is coming up. One can say Valentine's Day is just a holiday to sell chocolate and flowers, but that's a pessimistic way of looking at it. Can't we pretend there's a little more love in the world on a specific day? I've also been listening to "Livin' la Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin over and over. That gives me the idea of putting some sort of music list or "now listening to" section on my page. I'm not sure how I'd do that, I'm not very good with CSS. I think I'm going to go to bed now.

I've started drinking Earl Grey tea. I've never been much of a tea person, and I'd like to try more. Is putting sugar and cream in tea a thing, or is that just coffee? I'd like to try to drink more coffee, too. I've always been a soda guy. It is a little chilly next to my computer, I've got my desk set up right next to my window, and I think there's a leak. I'm hoping to get a lot of work done this weekend, I also have plans to work further on a project for Valentine's Day. If you can't tell, I don't know how to write blog posts!

This is my first post for my website! I am going to use this place as a bit of a blog. I'm not sure how much or how frequently I'll update this, but I'll probably pop back in once in a while. Eventually the links on the left side will actually lead to things. Here's to a first post!
